Description:
Attention Chicago Actors,
My name is Nick Pagonakis and I am Directing Student at Columbia College Chicago. I will be reimagining a short scene from the film "Sex, Lies, and Videotape" and will be shooting it on June 14 and June 28 at Columbia's state-of-art Media Production Center. Auditions for the scene will be held on Wednesday May 19th, from 4:00pm to 8:30 by appointment at the 1104 S. Wabash Campus Building, in rm. 317. I am looking for two actors a male and female, to fill the following roles:
GRAHAM - Male mid 20s to mid 30s. Single and somewhat socially awkward, Graham has a sexual dysfunction that can only be cured by filming and watching tapes of women talking about there sexual history. Graham is very particular about his method of recording this information, as well as his selections on who he records. His relationship with Cynthia is unique because he knows that she is having an affair with his best friend, who her sister is married too.
CYNTHIA - Female 20s to 30s. Cynthia is a single and free spirited bartender who is not afraid to express herself. She is currently involved in an affair with Graham's best friend, who is also married to her sister. She comes to Graham's apartment one day to discuss the situation, when she is intrigued by a camcorder and a stack of tapes in the apartment.

WHY IS THIS A GOOD OPPORTUNITY? For only five combined hours of work, you will be getting some great material to use for your reel. Also this will create opportunites for future work, as I will be Directing a short film titled "A Suspicious Tomorrow" in the Fall and a untitled Columbia Practicum Film in the Spring of 2011. This will also be a great opportunity to gain experience working in a professional studio.
To schedule an appointment please E-mail Nick Pagonakis at Nick.Pagonakis@loop.colum.edu or Call 330 241-9638. I look forward to hearing from you all! Please forward this to anyone that may be interested!!
