Synopsis: “Unscripted” is a web series about Abby: a new hire in the Marketing and Communications department of the UTA Libraries. Her nerdy ways, perseverance, and passion will impact not only the department, but the entire library.

We are currently casting for the pilot. Depending on how the pilot does, we will move on to finish the season.

Character Breakdowns:
Jen (Jennifer): mid 40s, Caucasian. She is the mother of the lead character, Abby. Jen, however, has a youthful personality and occasionally that translates into irresponsibility. Her daughter Abby lives with her and is in charge.

Meredith: mid 20s, open ethnicity. She has a constant bad mood, she is sarcastic; she, indeed, enjoys playing pranks on Abby. Because Meredith has worked in the office for over one year, she has the answers Abby needs – but she won’t give them away easily.

Chaz (Charles): mid 40s, open ethnicity. Cool boss, but strict when it comes to the quality of the work the student-employees produce.

Tami: mid 30s, open ethnicity. Forced happiness all the time. She is in charge of giving training about customer service.

Student Employee: late teens-mid 20s. Still learning the front desk job. Probably not a good fit since his communication skills are not sharp.
