BTP is seeking a female actor of color to play Mia, a vibrant, intelligent high school student. Actor can be older but able to portray a teen. Flexible schedule with some daytime availability. Must be available the morning of Friday, February 2nd for first performance and rehearsals the last week of January. A stipend will be paid for each performance. The Red Letter Locker by Randy Petersen is a 40 minute, one act play. Mia, a student, is framed for a crime she did not commit. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is transported into 2017 by a time machine made by H.G. Wells. Doyle and Mia work together to find out who really committed the crime using Sherlockian methods of deduction.
