Description:
Opera Philadelphia is casting supernumeraries (non-speaking, non-singing extras) for its upcoming production of Written on Skin. Supers will perform as Angel/Architects from the future, dressed as fashionistas in very modern and edgy designer clothing with severe blonde wigs. Supers should NOT be afraid of heights, as they will need to be on the third level of the set – about 20’ in the air – and they may be asked to handle stage blood.
Opera Philadelphia is seeking a diverse cast, and all ethnicities are encouraged to apply. Applicants should appear as if they are between 18 and 40-years-old, have an athletic or slender build, and ideally be at least 5'6". 5 opportunities are available, and men and women will be considered equally.
A small stipend per rehearsal/performance will be provided to cover the cost of travel. Must be at least 18-years-old to apply.
