First Hand Theatrical is seeking non-Equity actors 18 years and older for two new plays based on a family oral history to run in rep in mid-late August 2018 scheduled to run at the Piven Theatre in Evanston. Stipends offered.
One of the plays will be presented as Readers Theatre (no memorization). 3 Men/5 Women are needed for the Readers Theatre play and an additional actor of any gender is needed for the second play. One actress will appear in both plays and that actress must have an authentic Russian accent.
Auditions are Sunday, January 7 from 2-5pm and Monday, January 8 from 6-8:30pm in Skokie, a very short walk from the Oakton-Skokie Yellow Line stop.
Material To Prepare:
Prepare a 3-minute family story to share at the audition and there will also be a cold reading.
