Chicago Kids Company is holding general auditions for several shows in their 2018 season.
All CKC shows are one-hour musicals performed at 10:30am on Weekday mornings, and some Saturdays at 1:00pm. Each show runs 3-6 months. Performances are held at the Beverly Arts Center, Metropolis Performing Arts Center, Theater At The Center, Jedlicka Performing Arts Center, and The Stahl Family Theater. We are casting The Ugly Duckling, The Three Little Pigs, and Beauty and the Beast.
We pay $30 per performance, plus a $125 rehearsal stipend.
We are seeking adult men and women who can act, dance, and sing. We are very interested in casting all types, ethnicities, and sizes! The ability to speak Spanish is a PLUS as some of our shows are bilingual.
Auditions will be held at Chicago Kids Company, 4124 N. Nashville Ave., Chicago, IL 60634, on Sunday January 21st from 6-10p. Callbacks will be held on Monday January 29th from 7-10pm. (Callbacks are by invitation only).
Time Commitment:
Rehearsals are held at CKC on weekdays from 10-3pm. Each CKC show rehearses for 2 weeks.
Material To Prepare:
Prepare a one-minute comic monologue-and your best 16 bars from a song. (Prepare to sing a cappella). Bring headshot and resume. Prepare to show us your crazy, we are looking for big, bold, and over-the-top!
