Janus Theatre Company will hold auditions for the play 'Spinning Into Butter' by Rebecca Gilman. Rehearsals begin in January. The production runs March 16-25 and will be held at the Elgin Art Showcase.
Auditions are scheduled for Sunday, January 14 at 6:30pm at Elgin Art Showcase, 164 Division Street on the 8th Floor in downtown Elgin.
All parts open. Seeking two women between the ages of 30-60 years old - one is a college professor and the other is a college dean. Seeking five men between the ages of 19-55 years old - two are college students and three are college administrators.
'Spinning Into Butter' will be presented as part of Janus Theatre's Inspired By... 2017-2018 season and asks the questions: What is art? Why do we make art? How do we talk about race?
