Auditions will take place at the Actorsingers Hall, 219 Lake St. Nashua, NH on Sunday, May16th and Monday, May 17th from 6-9. Additional auditions will take place at the Atlantis Playhouse, 380 Cambridge St. Burlington Massachusetts, 01803, on Thursday May 20th from 7-10.
This landmark for American literature was first produced and published in 1947. It won the Pulitzer Prize for drama that same year. The plot examines the mental and moral disintegration and ultimate ruin of a former Southern belle finding her neurotic, genteel pretensions to be no match for the harsh realities symbolized by her brutish brother-in-law.
Shows run from Sept 9th-12th, in Nashua NH and November 4th-14th in Burlington, MA.
The show will be tabled in late May with rehearsals starting in late July.
Cast: 5 women and 5 men ages 25 and older.
Auditions will consist of selected readings from the script and actors will be seen on a first come first seen basis. No appointment or prepared material required. All roles are available and both NTG and Atlantis Playmakers believe in diversity in casting.
