Casting OUT OF HAND, a short musical comedy for television

The fingers on a hand become self-aware.

Characters:
THUMP, tough and stubborn, male or female, alto or bass
INDY, animated and impatient, male, tenor
FLIP, stiff and reserved, male, baritone
RINGA, vain and emotional, female, soprano
PINKY, quiet and optimistic, female, soprano

OUT OF HAND was co-written by three collaborators, two of whom live in Portland. Archie Washington wrote the book, Mark LaPierre the lyrics, and Dan David the music.

Archie Washington is the director.
Matt Insley is the musical director.

OUT OF HAND will be performed and broadcast Live before a studio audience on cable television from MetroEast in Gresham, 829 NE 8th Street. (503) 667-TV4U (8848) . Actors should be able to cold read the script and sight read the music for auditions. Headshots and resumes are helpful, but not absolutely necessary. I'll know if you're right for a part.

There's a tiny stipend, or food and beverages for cast and crew on the show. Tell Archie, who's producing on a hairline budget, which you prefer.
