Description:

In Association with Mainstage Center for the Arts, Riddlesbrood is casting for our original production of “Harken—A Game of Phones!” Written and Directed by Ryan Long. The show is a fantasy adventure that features full screen video projection, CGI technology as well as the audience interacting with the show via their smartphones!

Presently, we are searching to fill 5 specific roles:

Roles for Adults Ages 30 and older -
CLYDE P. RIDDLESBROOD: Narrator, and Master of Harken
NYX: A weird hunchback character (small role, but definitely a comic relief character)


Roles for Young Adults 16-30 (must be able to portray in the 16-25 range)
CARTER: An Axe Wielding Berserker (Jock/Tough Guy type - involves some swordplay)
CRYSTAL: The Warrior Maiden (Cute and Bubbly - involves some swordplay)
SHANE: The Cavalier (Talkative Salesman type Guy - involves some swordplay)

Singing and athletic ability a plus, but may not be required for all roles!

Parts are Paid positions (up to $75 per performance). Rehearsals are on Mondays and Thursday evenings at Academy Hall (27 S Black Horse Pike, Blackwood, NJ 08012). Some Saturday rehearsals will be required as we approach show opening.

Performances will be at the Dennis Flyer Theater at the Camden County College. (200 College Drive Blackwood, NJ 08012)
Show dates are November 3rd, 4th (two performances), and 5th.
