Project Title | All The King's Women |
Description:
Synopsis: True stories from the life of Elvis Presley told through the eyes of sixteen women. Some enthralled, some appalled, some obsessed. A fast-paced series of five comedic plays and three monologues based on the life of Elvis. From Tupelo Mississippi, where 11 year old Elvis wanted a BB gun instead of a guitar, to the Steve Allen show, from President Nixon’s office to Andy Warhol’s studio, from Cadillac salespeople to a Graceland guard. A touching, funny, nostalgic and novel view of the “King” from a female point of view, without him making an appearance. A family friendly comedy with heart that captures an Elvis you have never seen before. This production incorporates a generous helping of Elvis songs that the audience will know and love.
