Synopsis: It was summer of 1994 and sixteen-year-old Marna Channing had enough of her life in the foster care system. So, on her sixteenth birthday, she stowed away on a bus and ended up in a small town in South Georgia. While there she ran across the Reeves family, a humble peach farming family struggling with last season's unsuccessful harvest. With help from a sassy barrel racer and a charming farmer's son, Marna learns the true meaning of family, life, and love.
