HEY! I?m a student at Oberlin College (Ohio, USA) studying abroad here in London. For one of my final projects I?m looking for 4 -6 Male Dancers to help me work on a 5-10 minute movement piece that interrogates and texturizes narrative themes and techniques in Sam Selvon?s The Lonely Londoners. The piece will draw from Afro-Caribbean and Modern Dance forms and may include very mild tumbling and partnering. No technical background is necessary (but if you have some technical background, GREAT), just an appreciation for movement and an interest in the body as a carrier of meaning and signification.


This is NOT a big time commitment! We will meet for a few hours one day during the weekend of 29 April- 2 May (depending on the schedules of the dancers) to create and film the piece.
