Description:
Acting Role for a new one-woman show about one of three women to play professional baseball. This is an educational theatre production running approximately 45 minutes in length. As the character describes herself: "I was a African American girl with long hair and light skin. I wasn't sure where I fit in. I was tiny too. Even with my uniform I was barely 5'2" and weighed maybe 105 pounds. It was a good thing the pitcher's mound was raised otherwise the batter might not have seen me." The character is between 20-25 years old.
Rehearsals to begin in December with possible performances as early as mid-January. Payment per performance with the possibility of a small stipend for rehearsals. Rehearsals will take place in or around Norristown, PA. Must have flexible schedule and own transportation.
