Redtwist Theatre is seeking actors to submit for Titus Andronicus by William Shakespeare, Directed by Co-Artistic Director, Dusty Brown (they/them).

Titus Andronicus
55+, White, Gender flexible - A great general, stern and deferential to the rules, often to a fault.

Lucius
Mid-30s, White, Gender Flexible - Titus' son; a skilled warrior, fiercely loyal to his family; musical talent a plus

Lavinia- Seeking understudy
20s, White, Female CW: Sexual Assault, Sexual Violence

Marcus
50+, race/gender flexible: Titus' kin; a skilled politician, though overshadowed by his brother's prowess. Ideally BIPOC and Gender Flexible.

Tamora-Seeking understudy
50+, race flexible, Female

Demetrius
18 - 25, race flexible, Male: Tamora's Son; the worst kind of privileged and toxic young man.

Chiron
18 - 25, race flexible, Male: Tamora's Son; the worst kind of privileged and toxic young man.

Aaron
30 - 50, Black, Male: Tamora's closest advisor and lover; cunning and ambitious; he'll rule the world if he doesn't burn it down first. This is Aaron's version of this story.

Saturninus
30 - 50, race flexible, Male: The new emperor, spoiled and fickle, would gleefully play the fiddle while Rome burned.

Stipend: Actors stipend is $350, $100 for Understudies (with their own rehearsal process and two guaranteed performances).
