This brief stage play is a part of a Christmas concert and theatre production. This is a non-musical production.
Hope is Born is based on the historical character of Charles Spurgeon (early 20s) who was a prolific speaker and preacher in Europe in the early 20th century. This is a story of romance, tragedy, long-suffering, and ultimately the title suggests, hope.
Seeking:
Charles Spurgeon (20-30's) Male: A modest preacher who is becoming more famous throughout his part of Europe
Susie Spurgeon (20-30's) Female: Charles' wife, a devout woman of God, that supports him in his journey after facing a transformation of her own
Rehearsals: Once a week, October 8th-December 1st.
Tech: December 2nd-5th
Performances: December 6th, 7pm & December 7th, 1pm and 5pm
