Description:
The Caroling Party, Chicago's premier professional caroling group, announces auditions for singers in all voice ranges. We are looking for attractive, energetic performers who know how to "sell it". We need good singers who work in a pop style (rather than a classical or legit approach).
For the audition, please prepare two a cappella Christmas solos of your choice.
You must have a car and provide your own costume. All jobs are paid.
Auditions will be held Thursday, October 10th via Zoom.
Please note: this is not an entry-level position for people who think it would be fun to sing Christmas carols. This is a seasonal opportunity for experienced working professionals who are willing to invest the considerable study and rehearsal time required to master our admittedly large holiday repertoire.
Rehearsals will be held in Wilmette on November 4th, 12th, 20th and December 2nd from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
