GreatWorks Touring Theatre is now accepting submissions from non-AEA actors for our upcoming 2024-25 productions.

GreatWorks has a roster of eleven productions for grade school and middle school audiences. The line-up includes adaptations of NUMBER THE STARS, LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW, and THE GIVER, a HARRIET TUBMAN bio show, an abridged ROMEO AND JULIET, and a fast-paced history of America in 50 STATES IN 60 MINUTES, among others.

Performances occur during school hours, so weekday availability and a flexible schedule is required. Most performances are in Chicagoland, but there are occasional overnight bookings outside of the Chicago area. All roles are paid, with first year performers starting at $55 for a single performance call. There is also a rehearsal stipend, and all rehearsals are at our North Center studio space.

Auditions are being held in-person at our rehearsal space (1803 W Byron St. Suite 211) on Sunday, September 8 12-7PM.
