Description:
Towle Theater seeks strong singer/actors 21 years old and up for its upcoming holiday musical A Fabulous 50's Christmas. Directed by Jeff Casey and Musical Direction by Elizabeth Tuazon. All ethnicities strongly encouraged to audition. Performance Dates are November 30, December 6, 7, 13, 2024 at 8pm and December 1, 8, 14, 15, 2024 at 2pm. All rehearsals and performances will take place at the Towle Theater in Hammond, IN.
Audition Date: Saturday, August 24 from 10:00am-3:00pm
Audition Location:
Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont, Chicago, IL 60657. South side of Belmont, between Lakewood and Racine. Located just a few blocks west of the Belmont Red/Brown/Purple stop also accessible via the #77 Belmont bus.

Show Description:
A Fabulous 50's Christmas is an original show of wholesome family entertainment that captures the spirit and joy of Christmas just as the Perry Como and Andy Williams TV Christmas specials did from years gone by.
Pay: $450
Rehearsals will begin end of September (max 3-4 rehearsals per week). Performance Dates are November 30, December 1, 6-8, 13-15. All rehearsals and performances will take place at the Towle Theater in Hammond, IN.
Please prepare 32 bars of a Christmas Song written prior to 1960. Have a contrasting piece ready if asked. Provide sheet music in the correct key. No acapella or taped accompaniment. You may be asked to read from a commercial script.
