Description:

Filament Theatre is now accepting submissions to understudy their upcoming fall touring production, a gentle one-person play featuring storytelling and puppets. In addition to connecting with artists for this fall production, Filament looks towards their future programming and would love to meet anyone interested in Filament's work.

Artists of all genders, races, and abilities are invited to submit.

When and Where:
Auditions will take place Wednesday, July 3, at Filament Theatre (4041 N. Milwaukee, Chicago, IL 60641).

Description:
Cloudia has always had her head in the clouds. She is a cloud expert and all of her life she has dreamt of seeing a Cloud Man - an extremely rare creature who lives a quiet life high up in the sky.

Follow the clues to the very top of Cloud Mountain where the views are always surprising.

If you are lucky, you may see something very special indeed.

Role Breakdown:
Seeking one Teaching Artist - Performer with excellent storytelling & facilitation skills with experience in puppetry. All are encouraged to submit but Filament is particularly excited to meet artists who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.

Contracting Information:
Pay: $375 + an additional $30/per performance should you go on + guaranteed $25 for HOLD during the final week
