GreenMan is thrilled to announce auditions for "8 to the Bar." Auditions will be Sunday, June 2nd at 7:00 p.m. and Monday, June 3rd at 7:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Elmhurst, 232 S. York Street, Elmhurst, IL 60126.
Auditions will begin at 7:00 p.m. each evening - please arrive no later than 8:30 p.m. in order to be seen - no appointments necessary. Auditions will consist of short cold reading scenes. A variety of roles are available for adults age 18 - 60s and one teenage boy.
Nine short original 10-minute plays on the theme of "Revenge is Sweet. . . or is it?"- directed by Melanie Bagal, Derek Dillon, Jim Doherty, Becca Easley, G.F. Gallagher, Margie Gustafson, Gina Palmer, David Stasevsky, and Kate Vargulich. This festival of short 10-minute plays will be performed July 12, 13, 14 at Chicago Dance Factory in Villa Park.
