Description:

The Kirkwood Players is holding auditions for a brand new adaptation of Lewis Carroll's timeless works featuring the beloved character of Alice. Actors will find that a majority of the roles are neither age nor gender-specific and none are ethnicity-specific, leaving open the opportunity to be cast and embody a classic character in a way that no one has ever done before.

Roles
Unless otherwise indicated, characters are non-gender nor age-specific. Roles are listed in the order of appearance.

Alice - (F/child-teens) - The utterly confused heroine
Mabel - (F/child-teens) - Alice's sister
White Rabbit - The panicked tie from scene to scene
Chesire Cat - Alice's smart alek greeter coming into Wonderland
Flowers - Ensemble of speaking parts with a production number
Tweedledee and Tweedledum - The slapstick twins
Caterpillar - The obnoxiously cool, calm, and collected character
Hatter - The glimmer of hope for answers that turns out just as mad
March Hare - Hatter's right-hand man
Dormouse - A sleepy mouse that often interrupts with snoring fits
Cards - Ensemble with 3 speaking parts and a production number
Queen - (F/30's+) - Trigger happy monarch
King - (M/20's+) - The Queen's awkward, timid partner

Auditions
Sunday, March 3rd from 2:00 - 5:00 PM and Monday, March 4th from 6:30 - 9:30 PM at Westchester Community Church, 1840 Westchester Blvd, Westchester, IL 60154.

This is an Open Call Audition. There are no reserved timeslots. Actors are welcome to show up at any point within the timeframes provided.

Please come prepared to sing one acapella verse of a song of your choice. The rest of the audition will consist of cold readings.
