BimBamBoom is seeking new and experienced performers to join the ensemble for the 2024 season! Ensemble members perform in our weekly burlesque, drag and variety events around the Chicagoland area.
For this audition, we are seeking the following performers...
-Experienced burlesque dancers.
-Performers with dance or movement training who wish to become burlesque dancers.
-Variety performers of any kind. (including, but not limited to magicians, contortionists, acrobats, drag performers, musicians, jugglers, comedians, etc. We are currently not casting solo vocalists.)
In addition to ensemble members, we are also seeking guest performers for occasional shows. We also train new dancers into burlesque professionals with our talented staff and production support.
BimBamBoom places no restrictions on gender, age, size, race or ethnicity. We're seeking charismatic and talented human beings of all shapes and sizes. Auditionees must reside in Chicagoland to be considered.
Shows pay $50, plus tips and other benefits. Some shows may pay more, depending on cast size, venue, production etc. Ensemble members also enjoy comp tickets to all of our productions. Dancers also rehearse Mondays from 7 - 9pm. Potential candidates would need to commit to that rehearsal schedule to learn and perform group numbers and polish solos for show production.
