Description:
Theater D is proud to present our 2024 production of Noises Off! by Michael Frayn, directed by Debra Goldman.
Called "the funniest farce ever written," Noises Off! presents a manic menagerie of itinerant actors rehearsing a flop called Nothing's On. Doors slamming, on and offstage intrigue, and an errant herring all figure in the plot of this hilarious and classically comic play.
Auditions will take place at Jewett Park Community Center (JPCC), 836 Jewett Park Drive, Deerfield, IL.
Rehearsals will take place Monday - Thursday 6:30 - 9:30pm and Sunday 10:00am - 2:00pm, depending on actor availability. Not all actors will be called for all rehearsals.
Performances are April 5-7, and April 12-14, at Caruso Auditorium, 1801 Montgomery Road, Deerfield, IL.
Auditioners will be asked to read from the script. No monologues are required. Audition sides will be available soon at the link below (no memorization required).
