Description:
Seeking African-American actors for the world-premiere of a one-act play "In Search of a Better Place," which addresses the roots of systemic racism in the United States.
Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 6-8 p.m., on the Des Plaines campus of Oakton College, 1600 East Golf Road.
Technical rehearsals in Des Plaines: November 13 and November 16, 6-10 p.m.
Performances in Des Plaines are Friday, November 17 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, November 19 at 2 p.m.
