Pegasus Theatre Chicago is casting their 37th Young Playwright's Festival production

Seeking an ensemble of 5-7 actors total to be a part of the following shows to be performed in tandem. (PLEASE NOTE: Casting breakdowns pertain to the characters, not actors. We are open to any and all actors for consideration of roles):

PLAYS:
Splashes of Paint | Director: Reshmi Hazra Rustebakke | Cast: 2f, 2m | Synopsis: During the Renaissance period, a young woman must hide her painting which jeopardizes her happiness.

You're Like, Dead | Director: ILesa Duncan | Cast: 2m, 1f | Synopsis: Richard accidentally dies and befriends Death in the afterlife as they both grapple with their loneliness.

Can't Sleep | Director Enrico Spada | Cast: 3m, 1f | Synopsis: In order to stave off the grief of his dog dying James pretends he's in a happy kids tv show. Can he awake from his dream?

Listen | Director: ILesa Duncan | Casting: 3m. 1F |Two friends find themselves in a time loop of being pulled over by the police again and again. Can they escape the tragedy that keeps repeating?

All rehearsals and performances will be in-person. We will also record a preview performance for schools that cannot attend matinees. Cast and production team must show proof of vaccination.

Actor pay is a $350 rehearsal stipend and $40/show
