Corn Productions is back with another BRAND NEW and ORIGINAL show for young audiences this October. We are seeking actors of all identities and backgrounds for this fun mystery!
"The Graveyard Ghost: A Corny Crew Mystery!" follows a Mystery Gang-inspired group of meddling kids and their often malfunctioning robot companion as they investigate the appearance of a ghost in a local cemetery. Through slapstick stakeouts and interviews with the kooky townspeople, can the Corny Crew find out who's behind these creepy encounters?
All characters are being cast:
COBBY (any gender) - confident and bubbly; unofficial leader of the Corny Crew
POPPY (any gender) - quick and logical; the voice of reason
SPARKY (any gender) - easily scared, always hungry
GLITCHY (any gender) - a well-meaning robot that never quite gets it right
RONALD (masc) - a sleazy and defiant businessman with big plans
GERTIE (fem) - a sweet old woman who lives down the street from the graveyard
2-3 ENSEMBLE PLAYERS (any gender) - multiple characters
Pay: $100+
Rehearsals will be in September, with a mix of weekday evenings and weekend day time rehearsals based on cast availability.
The show runs Saturdays and Sundays with a 10 AM call time and 11 PM show time from October 7th to November 5th. There will be NO PERFORMANCE the morning of Saturday, October 28th. There will be a SPECIAL PERFORMANCE the night of Saturday, October 28th in its place.
Please prepare a 30-60 second comedic monologue, story, or poem that will showcase your character choices and physicality.
