The Palos Village Players will be holding open auditions on August 28th and 29th at 7pm, for The Man Who Came to Dinner.
Auditions and Rehearsals will be held at All Saints Lutheran Church in Orland Park. Follow the parking lot to the left, and enter through the back door.
The Man Who Came to Dinner (Comedy) Synopsis:
During the Christmas holidays in the late 1930s, the outlandish New York radio celebrity Sheridan Whiteside, having dined at the home of the Stanleys, slips on their doorstep, breaking his hip. A tumultuous six weeks of confinement follows including: ex-convicts invited to meals, penguins in the library, an octopus in the cellar, 10,000 cockroaches in the kitchen, transatlantic phone calls, and slew of eccentric guests coming in and out of the quiet Stanley home. What could possibly happen next?
Rehearsals will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm and Sundays at 2pm
. Performances are held at the Palos Park Recreation Center and will be on: November 3, 4,10, and 11th at 7:30 pm and November 5th at 2pm
