Description:

Lifeline Theatre is seeking one (1) understudy for their upcoming production of Cat's Cradle, based on the novel by Kurt Vonnegut, adapted by John Hildreth, and directed by Heather Currie. This is a non-union production.

About the show:
John Hildreth's adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle (1963) is satirical science fiction. Set in the mid-20th century, it tells the story of the creation of a deadly weapon that could destroy the whole world. It satirizes science and technology, the nuclear arms race, and religion.

We are seeking ONE understudy to cover the following tracks:

Track 5: Franklin Hoenikker/Jack/Mr. Knowles (M, 20s-40s, any ethnicity)

Track 9: Dr. Asa Breed/Marvin Breed/Dr. Philip Castle (M, 30s-50s, any ethnicity)

Understudy Pay:
$485 rehearsal stipend, $30 per show (when you go on)
