Description:
In a far off kingdom, the beautiful Princess A'Whora is fast approaching their 16th birthday and will face the curse placed on them by the Wicked B...Witch. It will be up to the Charming Prince Albert, Fairy Fanny and all of A'Whora's friends to save them!
PrideArts and director Bryan McCaffrey are looking for 6 actors to bring this extremely hilarious (and extremely adult) panto to life. Some characters were originally written along the gender binary, however the production team and PrideArts are committed to equitable casting; performers of all identities (racial, gender, sexual orientation, body type, etc.), are encouraged to audition for any roles.
Initial auditions will be via self-tape. Please submit a one-minute comedic, R-rated monologue (think TYA for adults) plus a 32 bar cut of any contemporary pop song that shows off your voice and personality.
Characters:
Princess A'Whora - heroine of our story, who is always tempted by a little prick
Queen Labia - A'Whora's mother who is looking for love
Fairy Fanny - Magical (and fabulous)
Muddles - Best friend of A'Whora, with a secret crush
Prince Albert - Royal Heir who loves to see his reflection in the mirror
Maleficent - Fairy with a nasty temper and a penchant for leather
Pay: $650 Stipend
Production Dates:
First Rehearsal - October 10th
First Preview - November 16th
Opening Night - November 20th (No performances Nov 21 - Nov 24)
Closing Night - December 17th
Possible Extension - December 20th - December 23rd
Regular performance schedule will be Wednesdays - Saturdays at 730pm and Sundays at 3pm.
