On Monday, August 14th Lyric Opera is auditioning BIPOC Actors for Terence Blanchard's Champion.
6 Actors will play Boxers. There is a locker room scene that involves some of the Boxers stripping down to a jock strap.
We'll ask if you'll be comfortable doing that in performance.
Actors cast as Boxers will be hired on an AGMA contract paying $598.50 per week.
2 Actors will play Drag Queens partying at a dance club.
3 Actors will play Stilt Walkers in a Caribbean Street Celebration.
Actors cast as Drag Queens or Stilt Walkers will be hired on a Per-call AGMA contract paying $79.50 per rehearsal and $116.50 per performance.
Rehearsals begin January 3rd, 2024. There are 6 Performances: January 27, 31, February 3, 6, 9 and 11.
