If you could speak once more with a departed loved one, what would you say? That's what Frankie must decide as he seeks to make peace with his past, present and future in So now, what?, a new two-act play.

Facing a series of near-fatal heart attacks, Frankie sees the ghost of his dead father who left him many, many years ago, himself a victim of heart disease. With the help of others, the two men face all that life throws at Frankie, including major surgery during the Covid years.

Auditions will be held via Zoom the evenings of August 8 & 9, 7-10 p.m. for the following roles:

Frankie - late 50s/early 60s, male-identifying - hard-working journalist facing the triple uncertainties of heart disease, retirement and Covid.

Nurse James - 40s/50/60s male-identifying - the hospital night nurse who advises Frankie and helps him through his ordeals.

Alice - late 50s/early 60s, female-identifying - Frankie's wife who must convince him to trust her in an untrusting world

Possible in-person callbacks: Saturday, Aug 12, 9 to Noon in Evanston.
