Description:
Director: Nickolas Gilbert. 'The Shooting Gallery'
Genre: Drama. Coming of Age.
Log Line: A young coed struggles with her photography professor about the meaning of art and the role of the artist.
Taking place in a single location, 'The Shooting Gallery' will be a highly theatrical production requiring actors who are comfortable tackling large chunks of dialogue in long takes and hitting marks while delivering highly nuanced emotional performances. Although we'll go in for coverage, much of the action will be captured with moving masters, as such, the actors must be able to simultaneously nail both emotional and technical performances.
Payment will most likely be deferred via a low-budget agreement, however, it is possible that the budget will allow a small stipend, depending on the level of success of our fundraising campaign. As such, actors are encouraged to apply regardless of affiliation. Copies of the final production will be available regardless, as will meals, crafty, etc.
Shot over a weekend with several rehearsals required before hand, as well as one extensive blocking rehearsal.
Director has a long history crewing on A-level feature films and is actively shooting several shorts to transition above the line. This is not a student film and will be executed to the highest professional standard.
