Description:
The Alice Gerstenberg Festival seeks actors of all types for a 3 night play festival. This festival will celebrate and present the work of playwright Alice Gerstenberg who was involved in the Little Theatre Movement in Chicago in the early 20th century. Over 100 years after these works were written, we will present a variety of plays and readings as a part of the monthly performance series Berger Park Presents. Directors - Melody DeRogatis, Corinne Hastings, and Eileen Tull.
Auditions are 6:30-8:30 on Wednesday, March 1st at Berger Park Cultural Center (6205 N. Sheridan Rd). Actors should prepare a one minute monologue from any work written after 1900.
Actors are guaranteed a $50 stipend. Actors should be available for tech and all performances - rehearsal schedule will be determined by individual directors.
Tech: May 17th 6-9PM
Performances: May 18-20th at 7PM at Berger Park Cultural Center
