Description:
Edge of the Wood Theatre seeks a TECHNICAL DIRECTOR for its upcoming Resident Theatre production of Light Up the Sky by Moss Hart.
Responsibilities include:
Attending production meetings with design team.
Coordinating and assisting with build and load-in for both sets and lighting. Assisting set designer with construction and supervising volunteer construction crew. (mostly weekend afternoons, particularly Sundays beginning in mid-February.)
Assisting with the procurement of supplies for purchase or from storage.
Assisting with rigging of set pieces, masking, curtain rigging, and some aspects of lighting.
Organizing scene shifts and assisting designers at tech rehearsals.
First rehearsal is February 6.
Tech: March 18-March 23
Performances: March 24-April 8
