The Plagiarists are seeking understudies for their upcoming production of Valhalla: The Progeny of Loki adapted by Bryan Haney and Kate Nawrocki from the album by Cirkuit Mob, directed by Kate Nawrocki.

A new musical adapted from the concept album Valhalla: The Progeny of Loki by Cirkuit Mob, Valhalla tells the original tale of two brothers and a trickster-god determined to claim their realm for himself. Inspired by Norse mythology, 70's-era Rock and Roll, and cinema orchestration, Valhalla will take you on a rollicking adventure over the high seas, across the realms, and to the underworld and back.

The Plagiarists require all artists working with us to be fully vaccinated.

Rehearsal Location: Remy Bumpo rehearsal space (1751 W Grace St., Chicago, IL 60613)

Performance Location: The Edge Theater Off Broadway (1133 W. Catalpa Ave, Chicago, IL 60640).

All roles are open to all races, ages, and genders, and will be cast based on skill and ensemble cohesiveness.

Loki - The Trickster God, mischievous and manipulative, Loki takes advantage of the tensions between the two brothers and enacts a plan to first take over Gultoppr... and then the World.

Hel - Loki's daughter banished to the Underworld by Odin and looking for a little payback (looking for a singer with a strong mezzo-soprano belt). The performer who plays Hel is also a member of the Ensemble.

Heimdall - The Watcher of the Realms entrusted by Odin to be on the lookout for trouble and the Narrator of our tale (would love for Heimdall to be able to play electric guitar with the band).

Jorik - Jarl's brother and Prince of Gultoppr, jealous and impulsive with a belief that he should have been crowned instead, Jorik easily falls prey to the whims of The Council and Loki's machinations.
