Description:

Seeking strong actors that are 18+ years of age. Local hires only (no housing or travel provided). We encourage Trans and Gender Non-Conforming performers to submit as genders listed as those of the character, not the performer. Actors submitting must have been fully vaccinated before Monday 10/17 for consideration.

*The roles of Oscar and Felix are already cast.

Character Breakdown
Gwendolyn Pigeon - Oscar and Felix's giggly upstairs neighbor, one of a pair of English sisters. She is a widow.

Cecily Pigeon - Oscar and Felix's giggly upstairs neighbor, one of a pair of English sisters. She is a divorcee.

Speed - One of Oscar and Felix's poker buddies. Gruff and sarcastic, often picking on Vinnie and Murray.

Murray - A NYPD policeman, one of Oscar and Felix's poker buddies.

Roy - One of Oscar and Felix's poker buddies. Oscar's accountant. Roy has a dry wit but is less acerbic than Speed.

Vinnie - One of Oscar and Felix's poker buddies. Vinnie is mild-mannered and henpecked, making him an easy target for Speed's verbal barbs.

Please send one (1) email only to info@brightsidetheatre.com. No calls please. If you experience technical difficulties formatting your submission as requested below, please let us know and we will be happy to work with you to find an alternative solution.

1. Put your full name in the subject line.

2. In the text of your email include your one (1) video link in the body of the email. The video should be submitted as either a direct YouTube or Vimeo link, or a method that does not require the video to be downloaded for viewing. Your submission should only contain 1 one-minute comic or serio comic monologue that shows off your acting strengths.

3. Attach your headshot and resume together as one PDF file named LastName_FirstName.pdf (ex. Simon_Neil.pdf)
