ABHORSON/ENSEMBLE. Late 20s TO 40S. The prison's executioner. Has imposing stature. To second cover:
BARNADINE/ENSEMBLE. A prisoner with a great sense of his own agency-in some ways, the unexpected hero of the play;
and ELBOW/ENSEMBLE. The town constable who drowns in his own ego and malapropisms.

ACTOR 2 (he/him). Late 20s to 30s. Especially seeking actor of color. Second cover: CLAUDIO. Isabel's brother. A young man condemned to die for getting his girlfriend with child; and ANGELO. The deputy put in charge of Havana in the Duke's absence. Ice water flows through his veins. Is undone by his attraction to the postulant Isabel. Requires strong Shakespeare text.

ACTOR 3 (they/them/she). 20s to 30s. Non-binary or trans femme. Especially seeking (but not limited to) a Latine, Afro-Cuban or Black performer. Second cover: ESPUMA. A performer in Mistress Overdone's nightclub who is arrested by the police and forced to deny their authenticity and dress as a male. Becomes interpreter for the humane Provost, who is deaf. Seeking a singer with a strong upper range. Ability to sing in Spanish a plus. Contract begins: ASAP

Pay: $350/week (17 hours/wk maximum)
