Description:
Oil Lamp Theater is seeking submissions for all roles in its production of Almost, Maine by John Cariani. Susan Gorman will direct. The production will run January 19-February 26 with performances Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings (7:30pm) and matinees on Saturdays and Sundays (3pm).
Synopsis: "One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend-almost-in this delightful midwinter night's dream." (Dramatists Play Service)
Pay: $1000 main cast | $500 understudies
Rehearsals: Begin November 14 and are typically held from 7:00-10:00pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and 10:00am-1:00pm on Saturdays. Pending actor availability, there may also be some weekday, daytime rehearsals or some Sundays in lieu of weekday evenings.
