Nash (early 20s): Was orphaned due to a tragic car accident leaving him to be raised by his single grandmother. Nash is now an adult, working at the local grocery store, and living with his grandmother. Most of his friends have gone of to college, moved away, or conceded to living out their lives in the small town while Nash continues to struggle with his own decision. Sheala loves her grandson and wants the best for him but has grown tired of watching him waste away his life playing the victim and never living up to his full potential.
Saul (early 20s): Saul is a classmate of Nash from high school. The two were ran in the same crowd but weren't real close till everyone moved away and the two were sorta stuck with each other. Unlike Nash, Saul has happily consigned himself to living in the small town. He is currently dating a girl who was a at when he graduated from high school and he keeps saying that the two will get engaged and married once she graduates high school. Saul works at the local grocer with Nash to make money and hopefully find a career.
Charlotte (early 20s): Charlotte was the salutatorian and one of the homecoming princesses of Nash's class. She was prepared to go to college however due to finance and family pressure, she ended up staying with her family. She now mostly stays at home helping her mother take care of the kids. As an excuse to get out for once she takes Sheala's offer to be setup on a date with her grandson.
