CSz Philadelphia, home of ComedySportz, Philly’s longest-running improv comedy show, is seeking experienced and up-and-coming improvisers to audition for our two Fall 2022 Long Form Teamz.

Every first and second Friday from October through January, these teams will perform two brand-new shows based on classic long form improv forms:

• ONE BIG HAPPY: The Improvised Family Get-Together - Hilarity and family drama take center stage in this La Ronde that follows pairs of family members in the leadup to an explosive family gathering that you’ll be talking about for years to come! Directed by Michael Michael David Gabriel Weingartner

• HARDLY WORKIN': Improv Inspired by Your Workplace: Clock in for hilarious scenes and meetings that could have been emails in this Close Quarters inspired by the audience's day jobs. Directed by Kelsey Hébert

CSz Philadelphia is for everyone, and we believe in helping prepare the next generation of improvisers for primetime. Our goal is to find diverse, talented, and versatile performers with unique experiences and points of view, including those of all levels of experience and training.

There is NO prerequisite for classes taken, and we welcome performers who are entirely new to CSz.

• Compensation: Long Form Teamz cast members are voluntary positions. For your investment of time and effort, we offer free scheduled rehearsal space, 8 performances, and an experienced director to coach and guide your team.

• Audition Times: Saturday, August 20, Sunday, August 21, and Monday, August 22. Please select all the time frames that work best for you. We will contact you with your audition time.

• Commitment: All cast members will be expected to attend five rehearsals from late August through early October, along with a mandatory session covering consent based practices.

• Performance Dates: Shows will take place the first and second Fridays of the month @ 10PM, starting in October and ending in January 2023.

Our auditions are an opportunity for you to show your skill set and introduce yourself to us as an improviser. We can't wait to meet you, so have fun!
