Description:

SCOTT ALLAN STUBBE (dir.) is now accepting submissions for ?SOLDADERAS?, an HD short film. SOLDADERAS is a bilingual philosophical western focusing on the final journey of a doomed band of female soldiers during the Mexican Revolution. Shoots are outdoors, in nature and involve moderate hiking.


All Roles are Unpaid: Copy, Credit, Meals, Gas Money provided.


Auditions will be held late April in Culver City. Shooting will take place early June in Southern California with transportation provided from West Los Angeles.


BREAKDOWN:


ADELITA, (LEAD) Latina Female 18-35. Spanish speaking. Non-sexual nudity required. Easy swimming. Desperately selfless, a woman beyond familial and political attachment, compelled solely by a greater love. A newcomer to the struggling band of besieged soldiers, Adelita must navigate amidst the internal crises of her new compatriots while exploring her own profound, personal questions of life and death.


CAPITANA, (SUPPORTING) Latina Female 18-50. Spanish speaking. Filled with bravado and leftist ideals, an ?alpha female? leader and a materialist who puts her army, and by extension, ?the people? before even her own life.
