A&A BALLET, under the artistic direction of Anna Reznik and Alexei Kremnev, announced auditions for roles in "The Art Deco Nutcracker", which will be performed at Athenaeum Center at 2936 N. Southport Ave. on December 3, 2022.
Set in 1920s America, "The Art Deco Nutcracker," is a beloved holiday performance featuring the traditional musical score by Tchaikovsky, magical costumes and stunning choreography. The best young talent is on display with an international, multicultural cast, and International Top Awards winners. Renowned dancer Alexei Kremnev is at the helm as Drosselmeyer and Mother Ginger will be played by a Chicago celebrity.
Auditions will be open to children of all levels and styles of dance ages 4-6, 7-8, 9-11, and 12+ years of age.
