Auditions for "Blithe Spirit" at Montgomery Theater of Souderton, PA.

August 13th at 1pm.

Young actors ages 12-18 will be considered for all 7 roles:

Charles - An intelligent and urbane English novelist.

Ruth - A smart woman and the current wife of Charles. She is a bit jealous of his relationship with his first wife.

Elvira - The ghost of Charles’ deceased first wife. In life she was his muse and has returned with a specific goal in mind.

Madame Arcati - A spiritualist, Madame Arcati is a striking woman who is not too extravagant but with a definite bias toward the barbaric.

Dr. Bradman - A pleasant man and friend of the Condomines.

Mrs. Bradman - Dr. Bradman’s wife, practical and kind, ready to support her husband.

Edith - The Condomines’ maid, always in a hurry.

Auditions will consist of a 1-2 minute prepared comic monologue followed by selected cold readings from the script. Please bring headshot (or recent photo), resume, and ALL KNOWN COMMITMENTS for the months of September and October.

-Rehearsals TBD 3 weeknights each week from September 6th - October 7th

-Mandatory Tech week October 10 - 13
