Description:
Auditions are coming to Village Theatre Guild for Daisy by Sean Devine.
Go behind the scenes of a 1964 New York advertising agency when Daisy, the most controversial television commercial for a presidential political campaign was created and how we elect our leaders was forever changed.
Daisy will be directed by Terry Kozlowski and produced by Renata Allelujka.
Auditions will be held at VTG on Sunday August 21 at 2 PM and Monday August 22 at 7 PM. You only need to attend one of these dates. Invited callbacks, if necessary, would be held on Tuesday August 23 at 7 PM.
There are roles for 5M and 1F.
***One of the M roles requires an African-American actor.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. No appointment is necessary to audition. There is no pay. The production would run for 12 performances from October 21-November 12.
Village Theatre Guild is located at 2S720 Park Blvd. (near NW corner of Park Blvd. and Butterfield Rd.) in Glen Ellyn.
Village Theatre Guild requires those who come to audition to wear a mask and provide proof of COVID vaccination.
