The Golden Gays NYC, LLC, a musical touring company, is seeking an understudy and cast member to join our team. We are looking for a responsible, motivated team player that brings a positive energy into the room! Must be organized and be able to adapt to a variety of situations, performing enviornments and working styles. Performer would be understudying all three actors, so versatility and a solid character database to pull from is important. A Dorothy one day, a Blanche the next day and then Rose the next- a la Jim Bailey, T.C. Jones or John Leguizamo. The ideal candidate will be Philadelphia based with professional understudy/swing experience in the theatrical field. A P.O.C. performer would be preferred. Someone with an interest in wigs/costumes/props/production or other aspect a huge plus for tour dates when not performing. Flexibility is important as show/touring schedules vary throughout the year.
