-Prepare and manage press kits and materials for the upcoming season and updating/maintaining press contacts and tracking for the remainder of the 2020-21 season.
-Create dynamic content for promotional emails, digital marketing, website content, Facebook advertising, and other communications through collaborations with our Graphic Designer.
-Manage social media accounts
-Contribute to team planning meetings about messaging, audience targeting, and strategy.
-Serve as the company's primary copywriter and manage the editorial calendar.
-Articulate succinct, captivating messages that align with each production, and spark interest in target markets.
-Compiling program book content for 2020-21 performances including artist bios, program notes, editorial content, etc.
-Working with colleagues in the executive team to review and route collateral.
-Assisting with outside marketing project management, communications calendar/planning, and deadline management as needed.
-Help identify trends in patrons' engagement and capitalize on opportunities to develop relationships with audience.
-Supervise Marketing Committee in the creation of lists, as well as coordinating list responsibilities of committee members
-Serve as company's primary liaison to Venue Box Office/Guest Services.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in marketing and/or communications, ideally in the performing arts or creative sector; excellent writing and copy-editing skills; and a willingness to work in a collaborative, fast-paced atmosphere. Position will come with a small stipend.
