'Circumstances' is a short film about childhood friends torn apart after a tragedy. Each carries the guilt of an evening that started in victory and ended in loss. After four years they come back to their hometown not wanting to face what they once left behind. One by one, each is confronted with their fears of that fateful night which shattered the future they had hoped for. As the years go by, the struggle to regain their bond finds the friends dealing with loss once again.

We are an up and coming Independent Film & Entertainment Company looking for dedicated actors interested in participating in a short film. Actors must be completely available all of April and May. April will be dedicated to evening rehearsals 3- 4 times a week from (6PM to 10PM) and shooting is scheduled for five days in May. However, actors must be EXTREMELY flexible in their schedule to accommodate the production schedule. If you are not able to fully dedicate to a rehearsal schedule of this magnitude, PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT. We will be submitting this project to festivals. You will receive copy, credit and meals for your participation in this project.

'CIRCUMSTANCES'

Brian ? African American/Hispanic/Ethnic male, preferably tall athletic build, age range 21-30 able to play 18-40 with make up. Edgy, tough overall confident, party boy of the group, naturally smart has a lot of street smarts. Hot tempered and always willing to fight. Has a good heart but gets caught up with the fast money he makes as a drug dealer. He lives life on the edge. Very loyal, would take a bullet for any of his boys.

Kevin - African American/Hispanic/Ethnic male, in great shape, and athletic. He has a Short haircut as he is in the military. He is a straight shooter and a family guy, can be very easy going, and sees life for what it is day to day. He is a Christian man wanting the best for his family; he?s very loyal. He doesn?t desire to be the center of attention or to have a lot of friends.

Ricky- African American/Hispanic/Ethnic male. Well built pretty boy. The life of the party, noticeable when he walks in a room, he stands out in the crowd. (Appears in a flashback running relay at a track meet)

Tiffany - African American/Ethnic female; naturally pretty girl to play early to late 20?s. She plays the wife of Kevin. She is a down to earth Christian girl; family oriented, strong and supportive.

Grandpa ? African American/Hispanic/Ethnic male; handsome and wise older man to play 50 or older. Strong man, good father set in his ways. Plays Mike?s grandfather.

Kevin Jr. ? African American/Hispanic/Ethnic male, 18 to look younger, must be able to play 14 years old.

RJ ? African American/Hispanic/Ethnic male, 18 to look younger, must be able to play 14 years old.
