Waywards Sisters is looking for actors to participate in our Second Annual Work-Shopping Women's Voices New Play Festival. The Workshop will take place on June 20th. Due to Co-Vid 19 the festival will be pre-recorded and then live streamed. All the rehearsals and the performance will be virtual. We are seeking actors for the following:

Bandera, Texas

Female- Identifying:
LIZ (mid-30s): A soon to be stay-at-home mom from New York City who is forced to move to her husband's rural hometown.

MARY (mid 20/30s): Liz's paternal grandmother. Well dressed and blunt. Italian.

GENEVIEVE (mid 20s/30s): Liz's maternal grandmother. Less well dressed, but just as blunt. Irish.

Male-Identifying:
Male Actor (be able to play ages 18-42): Various roles including the women's various sons, husbands, clerks, and Robert Kennedy

Cassie (18-23): a young woman on the run

Wife (20s): A nurturing and loving woman who obeys her mother's every command

Mother (20s-60s): The Wife's mother who detests the Husband; loves her daughter fiercely

Male-Identifying:
Butler (20s-40s):The Husband's butler who can't stand him; constantly rearranging the furniture

Husband (20s-40s):A hardworking man who idolizes his wife (his "buttercup"); loves numbers

Jared (18-23): Cassie's boyfriend; well-intentioned, if not a little old-fashioned in the wrong kinds of ways; plays guitar

Time Commitment:
Rehearsals will take place the 2nd and 3rd week in June with the performance on June 20th.
