Violet Surprise Theatre Issues a Gay-at-Home Order!
Just because the virus is a real showstopper doesn't mean that we have to stop putting on shows. We'll just put 'em online instead of onstage!
Our first online outing will be SapphFest, a showcase of song, dance, stand-up, storytelling, and spoken word, all presented with L-oquence -- though not to the exclusion of other letters in our deliciously queer alphabet soup!
The festival will be live-streamed over Zoom, with performers showcasing their acts from the safety of their own homes, on Thursday, May 28 and Friday, May 29 at 7:30pm. Each performer will be given up to 10 minutes to perform. You can choose to perform on one or both days. Please indicate your availability in your email to us.
What SapphFest is: A digital variety show of solo performances celebrating queer women and non-binary people.
